I recently purchased some CF mirror caps and spoiler and I notice some blemish on it.

Am I being too picky for the price paid ~500cad or is this normal?

No, definitely not, this should be replaced, for that amount of money I expect flawless goods.

This was my first time buying CF parts.
I'm getting an exchange on the mirror cap which has the bigger blemish.

No return or exchange on the spoiler (w smaller blemish). Are minor things like this to be expected with CF parts? I don't want to waste time retuning and ordering new products if all have some sort of issue even if very minor.

No that's not normal that's bad quality inspection. You may need to find a different vendor to buy from if you bought 2 items and they both have imperfections.
