Fitting monoballs but centre holds are snapping

I have a set of monoball control arms to fit however I've already hit a snag whilst trying to remove my old oem thrust arms.

Everything is loose except for the final bolt that goes onto the wheel carrier, the bolt is almost off however the last 2 or 3 threads have locked with the plastic washer/thread inside of the nut. I have now snapped 5 T40 centre holds attempting to either loosen it further or tighten it back.

I don't really wanna hit it with a torch as I'll melt the centre plastic threads and cause even more of a headache trying to remove it.

Is there anything else I can do? These were pretty beefy centre holds that it's snapped and everything was pre-soaked with penetrating oil.

Can you see if there is damage to the threads or corrosion? Might need to hit it which a brush.

I did hit them with a brush before hand but the tip of the threads are now inside the nylon locking nut, it's jammed so I can't back it out either lol

I'm going to buy a new set of T40's tomorrow and try hitting it with a torch then pray.

Years ago when I was installing lowering springs I had the front lower control arm but get stuck at that point. I ended up using an angle grinder and just cutting it out of the car.

Try jacking up underneath the ball joint to add weight, might be enough to hold it.

Another vote for the grinder here, either on the nut or the spindle.
I dont think you’ll get enough tension with a jack under it if it’s seized to the point of snapping sockets. I usually wind the nuts back and forward with spray/oil each time to work it through and it gets there in the end.

Okay so I tried giving it 10 minutes of heat but it just wouldn't budge, I was also paranoid about the heat getting to other ball joints even though I had tinfoil wrapped them.

Cracked out the angle grinder and broke it free after another 30 minutes:

Got the Millway monoballs fitted (thrust arms) and they feel pretty good, the car is in dire need of an alignment anyway so I'll get it booked in for this week. Initial thoughts were I had more road feedback, steering feels sort of similar to before but improved and driving over the cats eyes on the road.. holy shit, it's harsher than low profile runflats but I'm not overly bothered about that.
