EIBACH Pro kit VS Sportline lowering springs with 20" alloys.
Hello all,
I have a NON M-Sport f30 with Japan racing 20" alloys - I am looking to get some lowering springs; however I am unsure if I should get the Pro kit (25 to 30mm) or the Sportline (40mm) - as I have 20" alloys will I have to go for the higher option or can I get the sportline springs with 20" alloys? Thanks for your help guys! |

How are the roads in your area? Smooth or approaching moon-crater appearance?
20" wheels and lowering springs - without changing the compression and rebound dynamics - is a combination with many potential future regrets. The smaller sidewall on a 20" tire will transfer more energy to shocks & springs. This energy has to be absorbed. Lowering spring without a shock designed to operate with the lowering spring will cause the suspension to bounce - plus other unfavorable side effects. To change the compression and rebound dynamics with an opportunity to tune both independently is a more expensive proposition. KW V3 coilovers would be worth exploring. |
