Great tool. Put me on to coding options I wasn't aware of before reading thoroughly.

Dashboard daytime lights
Hello, let me introduce myself, I bought a couple of months ago a black 420d from 2016, beautiful but of course I'm going to say it myself, I'm really delighted, and well I decided to code some little thing, digital speed, auto star/stop memorized to the last position, temperature of the wheels, and everything works fine, and I saw another option that was to view the temperature on the computer and when doing so, the white lights on the panel and climate went off and the time was misconfigured.
The temperature bar appears, but the indicator does not move, and the white lights of the box have not turned on again, the orange night lighting works fine, it is only the daytime. I have removed the temperature again, I have done code to all the modules that it has touched but it is still the same. Can they be turned on by coding or what? Let's see if you can tell me something, thanks a greeting to all. |

The engine temp doesn't work on all models. I have a friend with a 328i and it doesn't work. I find it irrevelevant anyway because you have an oil temp gauge already.

Hi all,
I have tried to code the LCD panel on my 6WA to stay white at night. I believe I’ve coded it right. I’ve changed the KOMBI>3007>DIM_NACHT_EIN value from 0x08 as it was to 0xFF but it is still orange at night. Have I done something wrong or missed a code somewhere? |

You'll get a lot more answers if you start your own thread with your question as the title than having it buried 34 pages into a thread on a totally different subject.

Mate, we made that cheat sheet 10 years ago lmao, also on another note, what do you mean by basic?
These cover pretty much most things people want to do. Also as for update, the coding values in there are pretty much all spot on still. If you want stuff for newer cars and can't figure it out from google information or yourself. It likely would be a good idea to either get a license for a program that does it for you like bimmer utility on the PC, or protool, bimmercode etc on the phone. Or just pay someone else to do it for you, as otherwise you'll end up coming unstuck with it.

"Integrated chassis management" / 3000 DATA / C_Wunschgeschw_min_kmh / Custom value = 0A (10km/h) = Adjusting the cruise control
"FEM_BODY 3110" line "ASP_MAX_GESCHWINDIGKEIT_BEIKLAPPEN" and "ASP_GESCHWINDIGKEIT_AUTO_AUSKLAPPEN" by default being 14 this seems to correspond to 20km/h = The mirrors which fold/unfold at 20 km/h -- /!\ the engines of our F retros are deemed fragile /! \ |
