Modifying items in FEM_BODY module

I found out that in the FEM_BODY module (30D0 RemoteControl section) two items are -most likely- related to the TPMS system:
a) RC_CHANNEL_SEL_RKE_RDCI;
b) RC_LIMIT_HF_FIELDSTRENGTH.

In the F3x's with standard equipped TPMS, bullet item a has a value of 'Werte_07 = 07' (channels 1, 2 and 3) and bullet item b has a value of 'Werte_00h = 00'.

I currently have these values:
Bullet item a ='Werte_03 = 03' (channels 1 and 2).
Bullet item b = 'Werte_69h = 69'.

It seems item a triggers a new channel to be monitored.
Am not quite sure though what item b does. The comment section says some things about HF fieldstrength. Perhaps the tolerances of the (acceptable) measured figures are lowered?

Anyone got an idea what these options do/ mean?
And has anyone got a clue if I can change these values in my car to the above mentioned ones without any risk?
