F30 vs F32 Driving Experience?
I'm sure this topic has been addressed, but I couldn't find it.
Assuming both are MSports, is there any big difference between the driving dynamics/experience of an F30 vs an F32? Thank you. |

Hi, I have experience to share with you.
I drive F32 420d Convertible M-Sport 190PS and F30 328xi Luxury 245PS. F32 420d Convertible M-Sport 190PS ํI feelling sit on the road and be one with road, steeling and driving are so fun. Day use for 2 persons is good but not for elder to sit because sitting position is so low. Back seat is good for kids and not every use back seat, not fun for driver to out of the car and open front seat to let passenger go often time. Many part and after market part can use with F30, that easy to service and not to expensive for sport car. F30 328xi Luxury 245PS I feel so good for family car, you can't find twin turbo sedan like this F30. Everyday use like a japanese market car but gas so safe and powerful engine. When I select Sport Mode is so fun, I feel like sport car but not feel be one with road like F32. This is good for family and friend because 4 doors and easy to put carseat for kids. All is good but depend how you use it. Hope you get correct you want. |

I had a 435i Coupe and I always thought the car drove kind of rough. I felt like handling was meh and the car had a heavy feeling. I felt every single bump or road imperfection even switching to non-runflats. Went to a 340i two years ago and it's a big difference in handling. Probably due to the size of the car, plus the F32 is built a bit lower I believe.

There were suspension changes from Pre-LCI to LCI so keep that in mind when comparing cars. I know I've seen lot of posts about how the Pre-LCI cars were floaty and not as well tuned vs the LCI cars.

test drove a 2013 328i sportline and it drove very floaty, then drove a 2014 428i sportline. I preferred the 4. I ended up spending a bit more to get a 2016 (upgraded timing component) M sport 428i.
