Lightbulb My F30/F31 Codes

Took me a while to gather proper codes for LED Turn Signals and Halo/Angel Eye customisations, so here they are, gathered in one place in an hopefully friendly manner (along with the other codes I found useful) - Enjoy !

For DRL, in Japan, yes (i.e. 64) and that was way too bright for me.

Thanks for posting the codes!

What kind of LED bulbs did you get for the front and back turn signals?

Are those bulbs - as shown in your videos - you got for the front turn signals not bright enough?

Another question: Did you get similar amber bulbs from the rear turn signals? Or white bulbs?

White bulbs are mounted with the car but for LED replacements I was advised to purchase Amber ones due to the filtering applied to the white ones. Unfortunately, I did not notice that the rear were P21W/BA15s, not PY21W/BAU15s like the front ones so had to order a new set today !

Is the turn signal part of the tail light housing for Japanese F30/31 amber? For US-spec F30/31, the turn signal part of the tail light housing is red. So getting an amber LED bulb will make the resulting light kind of pinkish.

You can leave the warm check aktiv. This way if it burns out you get a warning. I know that's how it works for e90 so it should work the same way. Since you have a line for led that you put aktiv. Try it and let us know.

No. It is a chirp from the alarm system, and it requires factory DWA (Alarm).
