New Car Leather Care

With a new car inbound I'm looking for a leather sealant to make future cleaning easier.

Both my wife and I suffer from Eczema so use a lot of moisturisers. I also work on a lot of buildings sites so something that will protect against dirt and body oil making it easier to clean off is my main concern.

It must maintain the original matte finish of the leather as well.

Currently top of my list is Gtechniq L1 or chemical guys leather serum. Just a bit concerned that reviews of the Gtechniq say it makes the surface slightly slippery when I will definitely be using it on the steering wheel.

Gyeon makes a ceramic coating for interior leather.

I don't have much experience with that coating specially, but have nothing but good things to say about many of their other products.

Personally I use AMMO NYC Mousse Interior conditioner. It re-moisturizes the leather & gives it a clean and new look. It's $29 USD.

I have had very good results with the leather treatment sold by the dealer. I think it is a Repackaged Sonax product. It is also recommended by BMW and that is always good thing in case warranty repairs are needed.

I just treated my new leather seats with the Leather Masters cleaning kit/combo.
The cleaner, treatment, and protectant . Very impressed !
A bit too soon to tell if, or, how well the protectant works but, I have to admit the Dakota Black leather seats look amazing !

I use Griots garage leather 3-1 after using Adams Interior and leather cleaner and vacuuming. I also like griots garage leather care spray.

Chemical guys also has their leather lover's kit which comes with a lot of products for only $60
