is 1z cockpit premium safe to use on leather surfaces?
I used the 1z cockpit premium for the first time today and while I was cleaning, I was kind of scared to use it on leather surfaces like the armrest, shift knob, etc.
It seems like the instruction mentions steering wheel but it doesn't seem to mention leather at all. So can any long time user kindly tell me if this is safe to use on leathers? I am not planning to use on seats but places like armrest in the center, armrest by the door. The leather-y materials on those kind of seem different than the ones on the dashboard. thanks in advance! |

I've been using this for all my leather surfaces (seats, door panels, armrest, ebrake handle/boot, back of shift lever):
Chemical Guys SPI21616 Leather Quick Detailer, 16 fl. oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRJOUA4..._6nqTBbC2CZZJN Saw it at my local Walmart so I gave it a shot.

I haven't used that product but I looked it up and it says safe for "leatherette" in the description but doesn't mention leather. I would say if they don't recommend it the I wouldn't use it on leather.
It could very well work fine but personally I would use a leather product. |
