Yes but this fault only seems to affect cars with the ACC option fitted despite it being switched on or off. I would think there would be a lot more cars that don't have the ACC option fitted than ones that do, and nobody without ACC has reported this problem. That's why I said it was a very random fault as you wouldn't think there would be any relationship between the ACC system and the interior lights, it's maybe just coincidence but if so it's pretty strange that it's only been cars with ACC that have had this problem.

Aspergers notwithstanding, there may be a plethora of owners out there without ACC who are not members of this site who may have the same problem. For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not saying that ACC isn't involved just that it's difficult to say that's it's definitely the cause. Trouble is the problem isn't big enough for me to go through the faff of taking it to the dealers to rectify who will, in any case, undoubtedly tell me there's nothing wrong because all car owners are stupid and make it up as they go along.

Mine's still doing it, the other night both of my rear interior lights were on! First time it's been more than just one at the same time!

My light in the rear is in the centre not by the grab handles. Have they moved it for 2016 builds?

My rear interior light is also in the centre (Inc reading lights for each side) car is non LCi extended interior light package

Maybe the ones that have them in the handles also have Pano roofs

Mine aren't in the grab handles either, they are in the roof above each door although I do have the pano roof. The lights on the door handles are on the outside.

That's fecking close enough to the rear door grab handle for me. Last time I had a pano roof was in the e53 and before that the e91 and thought they were in the handle area. Now driving a poverty version with no pano roof, that sounds like a bag of nails, has a scuffed NSF wheel, some cnut scuffed the bumper, has 4 fecking bicycle racks on it and is FFS 6MT + it doesn't have MPSS's no ACS kit is in the worst colour to look after

It wasn't actually ever said that they're in the door handles, he just said near the grab handles! I.e. The handles on the roof for grabbing whilst in the car.

Reported to dealer when it went in. No fault codes so nothing wrong. I need to take a photo of it switched on as that will somehow prove it...
