Considering buying this

Hey everyone,

So i'm considering purchasing the NBT HU EVO for my F31 LCI ...

However trying to look it up on RealOem i'm not finding anything, like at all ?

Can anyone maybe help me out? Is there any other site i can go to?

I was made aware that this particular unit was used on Mini's, however the seller has listed it as fitting in a F31 ...

In general evo units are smaller than older nbts so fitting isnt an issue. I cant say for sure if it will fit though.

Isn't ECE European?

I sure wouldn't spend the money on a retrofit for an overseas radio.

I would also look for a HW 4.1 unit, especially if built in 10/17.

Well in my case it wouldn't be overseas as I'm in Denmark, so it would be foolish of me to buy a US version.

I heard there were issues with 4.1 units being retrofitted - don't really know why. Just read it on one of the retrofit threads.

Anyway, my concern was primarily focused on Steve from CodeMyBimmer telling me that some of these Mini units were ID4 units despite being HW 3.XX ....

I want to make sure I get a native ID5 unit
