(328D) Kerma TDI tune VS DINAN Sport Performance Tuner

In the market for a tune for my 2016 328D. So far Im thinking ether the Dinan piggyback sports tuner, or the Kerma TDI Tune. Has any one had any issues with ether option, or would recommend one over the other? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thanks!

The Dinan sportronics shouldn't even be a consideration. That thing has incredibly minimal gains. I dyno'd maybe a 7-8hp difference with it. Too little to have confidence it wasn't out of the noise.

I only have 5,547mi on Kerma so far, but it's been smooth since. The only potential downside is DEF useage seems to be a bit higher, refill about every 10,000mi (or every oil change). That's worth it to me for the performance.

26,800 miles on the tune.

And mind you, mine was a testbed for it from the beginning.
Zero issues, even with the early beta versions.

What kind of gains have you gentlemen seen from this tune? Is any of your vehicles under warranty? I am weighing out the options, if I should Tune now or later. I have two years of extended warranty left on my BMW. Went and spoke to to service department guy's and they told me that as long as I take my tune off before i get serviced that I would be fine. They reassured me that the only time BMW would send out a mechanic to look at the ECU history would be if there was a catastrophic failure of some kind.

I've had tuning of some sort since 16k mi, so spent more time under warranty tuned than not (I'm at 54k now). It hasn't been a problem and I've had warranty work done in in that period. I also ask that they don't do any SW updates when I bring the car in.

What kind of warranty work did you have done, and do you revert back to stock tune when you go in for work?
