Servicing Questions

Hi all

Apologies for this post guys, I’m a novice when it comes to BMW matters.

Currently I have a 64 plate m sport 3 series, it has full main dealer service history.

My question is, which things can I get carried out which won’t impact the service history? Also, are there things that get done as part of the minor and major service which appear separately on the service history on the idrive?

Main reasoning for my question is, I have my brake fluid due next month and my local Indy quoted £40, not sure on the sytner price yet, but it does appear on the idrive, if I did it with an Indy, would bmw check it next time they had it and update or would a local bmw partner be better off doing it? Does this affect my MDSH?

When you do the service update it in iDrive and you're good to go. There are many youtube videos that show how to do it.
