Will these tires work?
I am currently running 245/35/20 and 275/30/20. I found some 285/30/20 on sale and wondering if they will work?

285/30/20 is 26.7" tire diameter
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...2&postcount=85 widest i've seen on an f30/32/36. 295/30/19 +45, 26", i believe h&r sport. the tires are 0.7" shorter and have 0.35" less sidewall than 285/30/20. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=201 ...285/30/19(25.7"), +40 offset, unlowered. tires 1" shorter and 1/2" less sidewall than 285/30/20. since you're lowered the tire shoulder will tuck in a little however its 26.7" height maybe be an issue. it'll be tight. Hi Guys, I have a BMW 428i Grand coupe with stock 17” wheels. I just purchased a set of M4 wheel sized at 255/35/19” (Front) and 275/35/19” (Rear). I have two questions 🤓
1. Does anyone have experience with putting these wheels on a 428i? Would it look weird with offset? 2. The new wheels came of a M4 with TPMS. Can I just install those wheels on my car without changing the TPMS? If I do, would I have any errors on the TPMS? I read some people saying put your old sensors and the new wheels but that’s a lot of work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Thanks for response.. I asked a tire shop and the guy told me to remove my stock TPMS and put it on the M4 ones and I’m like that’s a lot of work for that...
Also, Do you have experience with putting these wheels on a 428i? Would it look weird with offset? |

the tires will be poking a little if you're not lowered. do a [search] of all the 437M threads/posts. it'll take too much time for me to "hunt" through the threads/post and link it for you. here, i found one(of many) for you... https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...light=437M+F32 Last edited by alohasurftoad; 06-08-2019 at 09:29 PM.. |
