Halogen to HID

Anyone have a malfunction when switching from halogen to HID? If so what did you do to fix it?

I bought eagle eyes and I'm pretty sure I blew a bulb because of a resistance issue. Anyone know what resistors to buy for this fix

Coding I believe fixes any issue with slapping an HID into a reflector. Provided of course, you bought a good kit and not of of those $40 ebay kits.

Not much to learn yourself, plenty of help in the coding section. Just have to code out cold and warm checks for HID if I remember correctly

Im more nervous that anything. Feel like I'm opening pandoras box. Don't want to screw up anything else while I'm poking around in there...

The only thing you have to buy is a $15 cable off of eBay, hit up Shawnseridan for the software. There are countless guides out there for coding, not much can go wrong if you follow the guides. That's how I learned, and I've done 3 other cars aside from mine without any issue.

I successful have done the conversion from halogen to HID H7. When I first hooked it up, it was inconsistent and not turning on after a minute. The only that made this work was warning canceller/ Antiflicker connector kit...... I also changed the DRL (PW24W) to LED and the accent light to LED (BA9 64132 H6W).

later on I coded out hot and cold monitoring for the lights
