Clean Slate and Citrus Wash Gloss shampoos are used in my 2 bucket wash.

Honeydew for the foam cannon bath

I just swapped my clay bars and lube but chemical guys clay luber smells so good.

Butter wet wax, leaves a great shine, easy to apply and take off, and smells so good I could probably eat it and not feel bad.

+1 on the best detail spray, though I love me some bead maker.

I use stripper scent as the air freshener in customer cars, its the most popular.

About to buy stripper scent until I read the most recent Amazon reviews. Apparently over the last year or two the scent has been diluted and no longer lasts longer than 15 mins?

I have this product in my garage and still haven't tried it - will do so once it cools down more .

The only advice I can give you is that Chemical guys is a brand and they only re brand stuff.
They aren't mad scientists cooking up miracle potions.

I have used some of their products in the past and they were average at best.

Now that i know better i use products like Gyeon and Car Pro.

I don't know - they have some good stuff and a good price point I think, and based on the response in this thread I'd say others agree. Do they have all the best products for every use? No.

they have very few one off products that work, but even then there are better alternatives. i don't think there is a single cg product that outdoes another in an equivalent segment.

Love CG products! But I do use some others like bead maker and brake buster from P&S Detail. Bead maker makes the paint pop so much and makes hella beads hence the name lol.

CG products I use:
Jet Seal - great for windshield (don't have to use wipers haha)
Citrus Wash n Gloss - works well and leaves paint shining
Leather Cleaner & Conditioner - conditioner smells great and the cleaner removes a lot of dirt
VSS Scratch & Swirl Remover & other polishes
VRP - revives vinyl, rubber, plastic pretty well
Clean Slate
Butter Wet Wax

i only speak on products i've tested personally. whether it's a cg quick detailer/tire dressing/wax/etc. i have found a better performing version with another line. i use no cg products because their consistency is lacking and that's key in any business. cg has a million different products and you really don't know what is what. meguiars has a similar setup, but they at least explain what each line is and who it is intended for so you can figure out which line you want to choose and what results you should expect.

no one in this thread is "recommending" products for him to use that are the end all be all above anything else out there. OP started a thread to ask what CG products people have used and talk about their experiences with them.

And you certainly can't just presume any kind of truth people are portraying or not by just commenting in a fun thread.

I don't know how many "professional" detail shops you have walked into, but if you have been in a good amount of them you will know detailers are creatures of habit, most haven't tried everything out there because they find something that works and stick with it. Not to mention lots of them think it's just a waste of money and time trying everything under the sun.

Chemical guys is the harbor freight of detailing products I would say. Are they the best? Absolutely not. Are there better stores out there to get your tools? Yup. Have some of us dabbled in getting a product here and there from there? You betcha.

It's like you discredited everyone's post just because they aren't using YOUR top of the line product that you deem superior in any detailing category, but all anyone commenting on is their experiences with some certain products.

the collinite trio are amazing choices for paste waxes. 845 is a classic and 476/915 are also really amazing in the looks/durability department. honestly it's been forever since i've used/researched past waxes but brands like zymol/dodo juice/swissvax always had popular products.

Except the leather scent. Once the leather (read: vinyl) smell fades, Chemical Guys Leather Scent Premium Air Freshener & Odor Eliminator is great to spray on the floor mats. Some may not like the scent but I do. Closest leather scent I've found. The scent is absolutely identical to Zaino Z-10 leather-in-a-bottle.

Not Chemical Guys, but I just ordered a gallon of Bead Maker. Excited to give it a try. I've been really happy with Sonax Spray and Seal but this should be a step up.

My car is almost 3 years old and the leather is just as fresh of a scent as the day I bought my car. My house is almost 4 years old and I am the first owner from builder, and it smells absolutely brand new. Every one who come in says it smells and looks brand new!

I have the same snow foam. You DO HAVE to wash it by hand after letting the foam sit for a minute or two. You just cannot spray it on and then spray it off. The dirt is still there. I use a genuine lambs wool mit for my washing. It is huge, fluffy, and wonderful.
