Congrats on the purchase!!
Sooo many mods you can do. Are you after exterior look mods? Like M Performance front lip / rear diffuser / side skirt extensions / wheels / spoiler etc or performance mods: M Sport Big brake kit / tune / air intake / lowering This is what my 335 looks like.

I have a alpine white 328i as well and have done a bit with it. I have a build thread with plenty of photos. I have done front diffuser, rear diffuser, side skirt extensions, side decals ,rear extensions, black grills, m3 matt black lip spoiler, remus 335i axle back exhaust, jb4, wagner catless downpipe, black 328i badging, alcantara/leather steering wheel, illuminated door sills and other little interior mods It all comes down to what u like really. Enjoy the modding |

I started with front lip / spoiler / matte kidney grills . In terms of bang for your buck those few things will make the car look more aggressive without spending too much. thanks my opinion anyway. Have fun modding , its an endless rabbit hole!!!

Never had a Bimmer in my life, coming from a Passat CC (also have an Audi Q7) and not really sure what the 340i will be like (I'm an old git, 54 end of year ) Last edited by Celts88; 12-10-2018 at 08:40 PM.. |

You already have made the right choice with 340i , I would suggest following :
M style Blacked out grill ; trust me it will make huge difference . Lower with your choice of springs ; It used eibach's Front and rear Diffuser Get Rid of the RFT's as soon as you can , I would suggest Michelin PS4S. BM3 MOD will give you more power but i have never wanted more Power . |

Really appreciate the info. Is there a specific place in Aus you got the add-on's, or did you get them shipped from overseas (is that the cheaper/best option). With the M style black grill, did you get the single or double fin one's (not sure how the double fins will look, as currently have single fin and can visualise all black grill). I checked out the Kies Motorsports video and doesn't look to difficult to change these over. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Black-Ki...5/263902782243 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gloss-Black-M4-Style-Grill-Dual-S-BMW-3-Series-F30-F31-Sedan-Wagon-320i-335i-328/323449433647?hash=item4b4f16ae2f:gjcAAOSwQ5lbnjx X:rk:4f:0 Have you ever seen the M-Performance Black Decal (that's goes on the lower side sill rocker panels), as that looks good from the photos I've seen on the web (unsure if looks good or tacky in real life). https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/M-Perfor...3/253558276076 Other things I like the look of are the Carbon Fibre Mirror Caps (standard, not M3), and the stainless foot pedal covers. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pedal-Set-Stainless-Steel-Genuine-BMW-M-Performance-Auto-35002232278/253969150849?hash=item3b21bdb381:g:l40AAOSwIgNXvqr o:rk:1f:0 Mapping, Picky-back mods I'm not too worried about doing, only thing I may look at is the Dinan CAI but not sure if it's worth the outlay. https://www.dinancars.com/product/d7...ies=&mid=340i/,

Kidney Grills , I have double slats M4 Style . I bought them online eBay seller . Other things i ordered through BMR Stuart and company are very helpful . I have purchased springs and Msport rims from him and it has been a pleasant experience.
Keep an Eye on the forums and generally people post stuff as well that they are parting our or not using . FCP euro is another shop for euro parts . |

Finally managed to get my number plates fitted to the 340i (guess which team I support ), and also had window tinting completed today along with adding the M Performance side sill decals
Happy with the results so far and now ordered the stainless foot pedals & M-Performance floor mats. Also looking at getting the matte black front lip spoiler & gloss black kidney grills (could get single fins or go for M3 replica double fin grills). This car just does it for me (never had this before with any car I've previously owned except for a Golf GTI 14 years ago, but this 340i is something else).

Yep stock 403 wheels - I actually like them so not in any rush to change (only time would look at other styles if changing tyres, which then most likely look at going non-RFT possibly Michelin PS4s tyres)
Quote:
Regarding diffuser will have a look at later, but currently looking at adding the front bumper spoiler first. Will most likely get the BMW OEM one even though it'll cost more but will ensure fit is excellent (assuming I fit it correctly ). Turns out the car already has a non-OEM exhaust fitted previously by last owner with dual mufflers (wife loves the sound of it, slightly drone to me), but I don't have any idea what it is (see photos, any suggestion welcome). Carried out by a local garage here in Perth (Osborne Park), with some pretty bad welding in photo 3 with pipe joint to mufflers (I'm an ex pipe welder, worked off-shore & even in a Nuclear Power Plant so know what a good weld should look like).

The mats are super quality so would recommend getting them OEM as will certainly last the pace (even though they are expensive), whereas I don't know how much benefit you get with going OEM pedal covers over the cheap knock-off one's. Not sure if it's right or wrong to include links to the eBay items here on the forum (I can send you a pm with the Links, but look on eBay under bandw_parts and easy to find). If you can get some of the frequent eBay discounts then that will help slightly with the cost, but will be a larger outlay than the knock-off one's. Cheers John PS I've ordered the OEM front spoiler and the side sills from them too, so hoping to get them fitted in the next week or 2 (cost was about 40% more than knock-off ones), whereas for the rear diffuser I've went knock-off to keep the cost down on this (difference is 1/3 price versas OEM)

Hey John, nice work on the car so far. Could you please pm me the link to the diffuser you found? Also are you planning to get the fitting done yourself?

I don't know if I'm allowed to put link on this forum so I've sent diffuser link via a pm. I'm getting the rear diffuser from Eurodivision in Melbourne. They also have other non-OEM items for F30's, e.g. Front Splitter Spoiler & Side Sills, but I'm getting BMW OEM one's for them as want to make sure these fit best (also diffuser is 3 times cost for OEM so happy with non-OEM). Yep, going to fit diffuser myself, doesn't look to hard per Kies Motorsports youtube video
