Finally mine has moved to 1200!
Speaking to the dealer he was saying the pull forward request kicks in after production and so it joins a fast track queue to delivery. Does this sound abiut right?

Hoping and praying for a March delivery now..

I reckon a dealer will say anything whether they know or not

I'd say the end of March may be optimistic and the middle of April more likely; but who knows? Maybe the dealer does know something. I hope so, there's nothing worse than waiting

Tinytrevor I wish! Do they really need 1200 miles before getting the full beans. I was thinking bit of sympathy for say 5 to600 then build up slowly to 1000 miles.

Not sure about a petrol 3er, but my m135i has a 1200 mile break-in period as stated in the car manual. So, you're recemmended not to exceed 4500 rpms and don't drive over 100 mph. And vary the engine speed - avoid prolonged periods of driving at the same engine speed. However, numerous members of another forum advised to give it full beans gradually to loosen the engine up properly. My understanding was to use your gears often and test the whole rev range - straight after collection take it out for a spin on a fast and winding A road

Hope that helps, but don't quote me on that

BMW bastards! Its been 1200 for over a week then its turned to 1100.
My fucking delivery date was supposed to be wk11
Then it changed to wk 14
Then I got told my build was defo 7th March but I check today and its changed to 1100 expected deliver 16/04 ...

WTF !!!!
