Everything you hear is true...great AFRs, NA style progressive power over the entire rev range, and ease of install/uninstall.

The one thing to note is, if you are coming from an MPPSK tune/car, you will definitely notice less punch on kick down (auto) as the stock MPPSK tunes "overboost" down low for that vicious initial torque feel at the expense of linearity and top end power. Mission turns this off to balance out the power over the entire rev range. Most daily drivers will prefer that punch but the mission tune is very linear and can feel a bit anemic to some when they want to do a sudden kick-down jaunt, especially on a heavier 4WD car such as mine (X3 M40i). But, initial throttle application is improved for daily driving in terms of immediacy.

Otherwise, it's been quite splendid and Mission really knows what they are doing.

Really good input. I have a JB4 MPPSK car and this is the first time I've heard of this. I'm much less eager to move forward at this point.

I have a M140i which is similar to the MPPSK tune.
I think the MP tune has more mid range than stock.

I also previously had a JB+ which added an even bigger mid range punch but basically nothing up top.
The MP tune pulls hard up top and is much smoother.

Actually, the M140i and M240i are tuned less aggressively than the mppsk. The torque peak is the same but it makes 20 less horsepower and peak torque falls off a tad quicker. This definitely feels evident with my track time in an m240i. This means you are feeling a bigger jump in power from a stock M140i with the MP tune installed rather than mppsk to MP tune. Otherwise, I do agree with the more obviously improved top end. I do miss that crusher torque slam from the overbbosting down low though.

Are they still working with you to try to improve this?
