slighty confused do all f30 come with engine immobiliser and the alarm is an option extra? i have the blinking eye underneath the mirror but when i hold the trunk button my trunk opens and i dont hear the alarm go off.

That's because it doesn't turn off the alarm. If you open a door without disabling the alarm it will still go off. I believe on my car you can hear the "chirp" after closing the trunk too, indicating that the alarm is still active.

I have comfort access and if i put something in my trunk and then put my hand on the door handle to open the drivers door, the alarm does turn off until i touch the door handle.
