Suspension upgrade advice
Ok, I feel the need to start upgrading the suspension before going big turbo and going down the power route.
Car currently has 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 vmr v710FF, KWv3 coil overs, just did brakes and rotors all the way around(car has m performance yellow brake calipers), vorshlag camber plates, m performance rear diff... and thats about it for suspension. I am currently looking at doing a strut tower brace, front & rear sway bars, and would like to start swapping out upper and lower control arms in front and what ever else is recommended. Any help on brands or kits would be helpful. I looked at the spl/monoball/f80 upper/lower front control arms but unsure what is right for me. Car primarily is a daily driver that will see weekly drag racing at the track, some spirited weekends to the tail of the dragon and other curvy roads not far from me. Need something that will help in launching the car as well as handling when moving

I highly recommend the Millway front monoball control arms. They are stock size so you don't have to worry about the wheel rubbing. I didn't notice any increased NVH with them, but I do run RE71RS tires as my daily, so it already has some road noise. These made a significant impact on turn in feel and go rid of the vague steering feel. You can even feel it during daily driving. I would also recommend at least getting subframe and diff bushing inserts. Full solid subframe/diff bushings would be better. I would recommend changing to stiffer springs before getting sway bars. 8/18k would be my recommendation.

KW V3 coilovers provide independent compression and rebound controls. That's one of the reasons why these coilovers are very popular.
Caveat: please review the lowering range of KW V3 coilovers. For some drivers, the lowering range may be too low. |

Yes, it’s possible. F8x and e92 m3 owners change to a shorter linear spring to run wider front tires. HP Autosport used to offer a kit to convert to linear springs. Very common KW CS. I wouldn’t recommend F/R 8k/18k kgf/mm. I’m not familiar with the f30 kit, but an 18k kgf/mm rear spring may exceed what the damper is valved to handle. KW twin tubes can take roughly a +/-200-300 lbf/in charge in linear spring rate.
