VAC monoball control arms durability

I am more and more considering to buy the quite expensive upgrade for my F33 front control arms and switch to VAC monoballs. However, I commute to NYC where the roads are quite bad and in my past experience with my 335i xDrive, I ended up changing these control arms every 1.5 years (thanks to FCP Euro, all parts have lifetime warranty, so it is only my labor that is spent).

So, I am wondering if some of you have had VAC for a long enough period, using it on roads with potholes to comment if they last longer or similar compared to the original control arms. In general, has anybody had to replace VAC control arms for a second time, and if yes, how often? Even if you haven't replaced them, it would be nice if you reply and say for how long you had them on your car.

Thanks,
Dobrin

I've had Turner monoballs in my front tension struts for 40k miles - they are fine no issues.

a spherical bearing will always outlast a rubber fluid filled bushing, but usually someone in your shoes would be more weary of harshness and NVH of bad roads when switching to monoballs than the actual longevity.

Was there any reason in particular you were led to the Turner monoballs over competing options (VAC, millway, etc.)?
