M4 Replica alloys & winter tyres

Mrs MOB has sold her 435i so we no longer need these.

Wheels are 3 months old and were bought from CM wheels as winter wheels. Very good condition, no kerbing or major damage. Maybe some minor light scratches behind the spokes but I'm being overly picky.

Grey finish with diamond cut faces. 19" wheels.

Tyres are Vredestein Wintrac extremes, couple of years old, no damage or repairs and with Mrs Mob's driving, 6.5mm to 7.0mm remaining

Front wheels 19x8.5J 235/35/ZR19 91W XL
Rear wheels 19x.5J 255/35/R19 96W XL

I would rather sell these as wheels & tyres combined as I cant be bothered with getting the tyres removed. But if they don't go I will split.

No badges included, OEM BMW badges fit perfectly. No TPMS.

Wheels £375
Tyres £200
Whole lot £500
Plus shipping

If you can post up the tyre & wheel sizes & where in N'hants you are, I'll have them complete if they fit my car / insurance co are happy. Do you know if TPMS can be fitted to them if required. What did you do, code out or ignore the warnings?

Let me know & I'll make the call to check.

Hi

Will do - I'm near Kettering but I work near J15a of the M1 which is closer to you.

I assume TPMS can be fitted, I didn't bother for the winters and ignored the warning, it shuts up after a while and just shows as a light on the dash. Not really ideal and I probably would have added TPMS next year if we had kept the car.

Cheers, Simon

Hi. Do you or anyone on here know if these would fit an F31 335d Msport+ Xdrive? I fear I looked at a similar set from CM and they wouldn't fit - presumably coz of the Xdrive...

Wooo liking those... How much would it be to have TPMS fitted to these? If they are suitable for the 335d Xdrive with MSport brakes fitted, then I'm interested. Can anyone confirm this?

Hi. I think the 403 19" wheels are 19x8" ET36 225/40/R19 front / 19x8.5" ET47 255/35/R19 rear for comparison - not sure if it helps us Xdrivers though...

don't think they'll fit an f30 and probably an f31, offsets are all wrong...

http://www.********.com/index.php?ro...product_id=646

shame I would've had them.

Just found this out myself, bugger, I'm out . Was nice & local & a cracking price as well. Can't see them hanging around for long though, good luck with the sale, OP.

Hardly surprising, you've linked to the wrong wheels

These are the wheel your looking for

Quite why peeps think the addition of xdrive makes a difference to alloy wheel selection is beyond me

^^^^ Because we don't want fcuk up the X drive system by having the wrong rolling circumference of the tyres..... No harm in asking if they fit our vehicles with X drive though. Better to be safe than sorry.

The rear wheels are an inch wider than the standard 19" wheels (9.5 vs 8.5) so I think this reduces the offset difference (but I'm no expert!)

I entered the details on this calculator http://www.willtheyfit.com and got this;

Existing/New

Diameter 661.1mm 661.1mm
Circumference 2076.9mm 2076.9mm
Poke 61mm 80.7mm
Inset 155mm 160.7mm
Speedo error 0% 0%
Reading at 30mph 30mph 30mph
Reading at 60mph 60mph 60mph
Ride height gain 0mm 0mm
Arch gap loss 0mm 0mm

Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 5.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 19.7mm more than before.

Which sounds about right as the stance was lovely with these wheels on our 4 series - unfortunately I took no pics of the car with the setup................

The rear rolling radius is identical, the front difference is below, I think I could live with that if I was in the market for some winter clad knockoffs (sorry OP).

There are sellers on ebay selling a set of 4 TPMS valves for £125. I seem to remember someone saying £70 each direct from BMW.

To buy, below is an indication, i'm sure you could find cheaper if you shopped around. A local tyre monkey will be able to fit them.
