Just bought '17 340i xDrive...30k maintenance

Hello,

Just bought a 340xi. Fantastic car. Brand new to the BMW world. I want to make sure I baby this thing. What maintenance items are due at 30k, if any? Whats recommended?

-Oil was changed at 24,700
-Pads are okay for now
-Brake fluid changed at 15,000

Thanks!

Awesome and congrats on the new car. You will love it. I don’t think there is much to worry about at 30k miles. I would check the cabin air filter if the hasn’t been replaced and maybe the engine air filter? Other than that I think you should be good to go.

First - congratulations and welcome to the happy world powered by B58 engine. You will love it!

I suggest to check the coolant level in both main and auxiliary reservoirs. Please do it in the morning after the vehicle had a chance to cool completely.

Main tank reservoir cap has been reported by many as defective (mine included) and had to be replaced. Check for dry white residue after removing the main reservoir cap. If present - get a new cap or have the dealer replace it if the vehicle is still under warranty.

Enjoy the ride!

F30_Paul_, the car looks great.

First mod recommendation: black mobile phone cable to match the interior. :-)

Beautiful car! Blue is my favorite color on the 340 Does the car have an after market exhaust? the exhaust tips look like they are sticking more than original ones.

Estoril is incredible.

The previous owner installed MPPSK and I was thrilled when I found out what MPPSK was the night before I picked it up

Nice!

We have the same interior scheme.

I always change out the pollen filter on pre-owned cars, it's easy and cheap!

I need some help. I have exhausted the general forum and mechanical maintenance forum for some sort of solid intel on maintenance intervals for this 340 xDrive. I cant find sh*t.

There isn't a maintenance schedule. I've put my own together after researching.
