Hey guys, I ve recently picked up a vgate icar pro 4.0 to code my 2012 328i using bimmercode but the vgate didn’t even work (no lights on) I tried the vgate on another car and it worked just fine. I tried to see the if the obd fuses were blown out and replaced them but still nothing worked. compubox is in the trunk so I dont know why it’s not working. Any suggestions?

No idea. I don't use VGate myself.

Hi guys, first post so please be nice. Looking to code apple carplay onto by BMW F30 2016 (post LCI) which is currently running pro nav ID5. I have read other forums about the need for an FSC code but cases where the car may already come with one and a simple bimmercode type solution is required? Is there anyway for me to check whether the car has an FSC code and ultimately whether I am able to code carplay or whether a USB coding solution is the answer. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Cheers in advance.

Your understanding is wrong. BMW AG never ships car from factory with CarPLay FSC Code. Car with factory CarPlay Option has a Telematic Subscription and is is provisioned for CarPlay. There is no car leaving factory just requiring Coding to enable CarPlay. PM sent.

You are screwed on 82. Once an FSC Code is "Cancelled", a new one must be ordered from special department at BMW as the only way to Import and Activate a replacement FSC Code on top of the "Cancelled" one is if the replacement one has a newer creation date.

I plugged in without emulator it was OK then I plugged the emulator for FSC and no with or without emulator it is showing only Radio

1- I can't inject CAFD_00000DED_003_013_025
2- I can't flash as it keeps spinning when trying to create .TAL
3- I decided to go without emulator as it turns screen blanl
4- Run Tool32 and load Entrynav.prg and cleared data through steuern_persistency_clear

5- Ran VO code and added 606, 6NS didn't work as I can't see any CAFD file when the EntryNav is plugged
6- I ran FSC status to try to load my existing FSC to new but there are different

I ran out of trials so put the old HU back and it is working

This should be as simple as Installing ENTRYNAV, connecting Emulator, at which point all Donor FSC Codes should be Status = Accepted, and then VO Coding ENTRYNAV with proper FA including 606 and 6NS. Maybe you have a bad emulator?
