thank you for great thread!!
to clarify, 245/40-18 square setup won't rub on bone stock 2012 335i F30(without any spacers)? or will i need spacers in the front?
putting 245 on 18x8 wheel(sport line 397s) is okay?

245/40R18 on 18x8 397 fits fine and will not rub anything, therefore no spacers required.

Putting on 245/40 18 firestone indy 500's on today with my 397's. I'm excited to feel the difference.

These tires grip! I am very happy with them so far. I feel like they somehow added some weight to the steering in comfort and sport which is welcome. I had these same tires on my Camaro SS and they didn't disappoint.

Still running great with not an issue. Love my 18's!

I'm planning to get the exact same tires for my 397's (8" wide). did you notice any more tire noise with the Indy 500's? Or any negative effects at all?

Nope no real noise and they look great, make sure to get a good alignment

Can you post normal pics of car without focusing on wheels that much, so that I could see better how this setup looks overall? Sounds like a great fit. If you autocross I assume superb and no rub anywhere.
