PayPal disputes?

Anybody had to raise a dispute via PayPal?

I've placed an order for some stuff on a website and paid for it via PayPal two days ago.
They still haven't given me delivery date and don't answer the phone....so I did a bit digging into the company.
Apparently they have a couple of different names and one of the names they use gets slated on the review sites by almost everybody for not fulfilling orders and mucking about giving refunds...if they do at all.
I paid on the 'pay after delivery' PayPal bit.

I'll give them a bit longer but my question is have any of you had to raise a claim through PayPal and what was the outcome?

They almost always and I mean 99.99999% side with the buyer so don’t sweat it, they’ll pressurise them for a tracking number and will freeze the money from their account so you will get a refund.

ETA no idea what the day after delivery is, just cancel

Cheers mate.
I've had a look on PayPal to see if I can cancel the payment but it says that PayPal have already paid them and will take payment from me after the 25th.

I was a buyer, the seller sent me a part not as described, they found in favour of the seller. Burned, never again.

Yes, I put in a claim and won with Paypal the other week.

I ordered a power supply for my laptop through a .co.uk website that turned out to be a Chinese outfit with dire reviews on Trustpilot (saying stuff was counterfeit, crap customer service etc....). I released this a couple of days after I placed the order and immediately emailed them to stop processing the order and refund my money. They ignored me. So as I paid with Paypal I put in a dispute saying they would not communicate as well as the Trustpilot review url.

Paypal gave them about a week to reply, they didnt bother so Paypal refunded my money.

Funny thing was that the company actually sent the power supply out anyway, so I just kept it.
