Regret selling my supercharged Honda S2000. But had to go in prep for emigration. Once relocated, I hope to get a 70's skyline as a project.

My VW Corrado VR6.
Strictly speaking it's still in my possession, but I don't have the time/money/space to bring it back on the road for now.

First car I bought on my own - Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus. One of the very last off the production line. Had it for two years and sold it for more than I paid for it. Worth even more now but that probably wouldn't take into account the £££ it required to keep it on point. That 5 cylinder turbo engine...

Had the family over last week and got the old photos out for some fun and embarrassment in part then I came across some old cars I had, just made me think ahhh if only I kept them.....
You'll have to excuse the photo of a photo! E30 325i complete with LS diff Then this brute with its V8 & rear cart springs, cost a load in rear tyres ...and for the eagle eyed, yes that is a 740 turbo volvo peeking out |

My Volvo S60r I had in college. It started having some issues and I just quickly sold it because ya know broke college student. But it was a fun little car

My old SL320 picture taken over looking the 18th at St Andrews with a potato back in 2001 I think, it was a lovely drive up there nice and warm. The SL was perfect for sunny days and long drives.

I loved my 318iS. A company car. Delivered the week before my 26th birthday in May 1990. I originally wanted an Alfa 164 but work decreed that was above my station..

Bought my 2003 Si new with 40 miles on her. Unlike our UK friends, we never got the EP3 Typ R version, so it only came with 160bhp. To help fix that, I added a turbo setup which took it to roughly 260whp. I drove it up to 160,000 miles before I ended up selling it. I really do miss this car.

Much missed old series 2 Landy, fitted with a 3.2 race tuned Ford V6, around 240bhp at 7000 rpm going through a drive train designed for 70, cross ply tyres, drum brakes and cart springs. It was FUN
Older folks might have seen it running around Leeds in the '80's....

Car I still miss
For me its my Seat Freetrack, it was practical had pseudo 4 wheel drive [never got stuck in snow], 168bhp diesel engine and could scare Cooper S Minis on roundabouts [the beauty of 4 wheel drive] also missed the two footrests [clutch and accelerator side making long journeys a doddle].
Part Ex'd it for a 320d convertible [mid life crisis moment] which was painfully slow by comparison. |
