Lol no idea, I've just heard about all the horror stories from xdrive guys. I never really put too much credit towards the claims until I heard it from a buddy who has an xdrive who's done work on rwd cars and said it's a night and day difference.

10 fins is 28 mm
Fin height is 7.1mm

If someone has the Ebay intercooler still off their car and take measurements that would be awesome otherwise it's gonna take me a while to make the time to do it on my car.

No fancy calipers here, just old school ruler, but my ebay "yellowspeed" intercooler measured:

10 fins = ~46mm
Fin height = ~10mm

I like this game. Here's the new VRSF HD fin pack featured on the 5" stepped and race intercooler we offer. 10 fins in 26mm, almost double the fin density as the ebay unit and quite a few more than the OEM.

Looks like the Rev9 version (what I have) has 8 fins per 26mm. I stuck a 26 mm wide piece of flat stock through the grill to compare on the quick

Take a picture and measure with a caliper. We had one of those in our shop and the fin density wasn't anywhere near that

If we're counting individual fins (picture a V shape like the OEM) you're at 10 way after that 30mm ruler. Looks like you're counting differently than we are. You're closer to 40mm at 10 fins.

Your pulls are too short .. You need to start at 2500 RPM till redline for 2 gears consecutive.
