Hi All,

I live in Philly on a one way street, I often park on the left side of the street. I know the passenger mirror tilts on reverse in the US and the driver mirror tilts on reverse in Europe, is there a way to code (with the bimmercode app) the driver mirror to tilt on reverse?

Essentially the same functionality the passenger mirror has, as of now, the passenger mirror tilts when I put the car in reverse and I flip the mirror adjustment switch to adjust the passenger mirror, Id be looking for the same thing to happen if I switched it to the driver mirror.

I currently do it manually, but was wondering if this would possible considering I park multiple times a day and have never needed both mirrors to be up while reversing.

No, that‘s not right.
In Europe also the passenger mirror tilts in reverse (except Great Britain).
You can not code it for the other side either.
For that you need another mirror.

I knew it was country in Europe with the driver mirror tilt. Thanks for the reply, Im considering getting a UK mirror then, like I said I park multiple times a day but I'd need more info on the functionality/coding post parts install.

I don’t know any country or BMW where the mirror on the driver's side tilts.
But i think it‘s possible to retrofit the mirror from UK cars.
But i don‘t think it‘s possible to tilt both mirrors.

You either need memory seats or folding mirrors to activate that function..
