Very basic question: if you have color matched paint reflectors do they reflect at all? Also, have you had issue getting them through us state inspection?

They do not... you are deleting the reflectors.

in the e9x days these were way cheaper from same vendors. so unless the cost of reflectors and paint went up that much then they are just charging more because...

Bump to an old thread....I'm having trouble trying to find black sapphire front reflectors for my 340. Msport bumper...

Anyone know where I can get these? I see them available for f30 335, will those fit?

A friend here in VA failed the annual safety inspection due to painted vs. original reflectors. It really depends on the inspector.

For our F30 I purchased some precut tint overlay that knocked down the orange color of the reflector, but still allowed it to reflect. Seller slickmod on eBay offers a light & dark version. You could do the same thing with some tint & an X-acto knife.
