Thanks for drawing tron back to my attention 225. I switched a small EOS position to TRX after checking it out and posting above - seemed daft not to.

Those lightly bullish indicators might well have been on target, 4.5% up since daily close last night and the strongest of the [few] major alts that I've looked at today.

Absolutely, some excellent gains this year. Pretty sure more to come from ETH. I'm heavily invested in CoinMetro.com through their convertible bond paying 8%/11% annually and their alt coin xcm. Great things expected from the team - fully regulated with GBP, EUR and USD support.

10% is great. What's the bond convertible into?

I largely bailed with some great gains in July 2019 when there was a surge in BTC to around 13k. Most of my portfolio at that time had been picked up in the 3k-7k range iirc. Sold out of all alts and kept about 20% of my BTC.

Crystalised some losses by ditching the remainder when Corona emerged, which was incredibly dumb. Have spent the last few weeks singing lalala and covering my eyes as BTC has belted back towards 20k. I'm not watching, tell me it hasn't made it yet

At least I put the proceeds into various shares and funds which have done well, and given me less heart racing moments!

You have a couple of options after 2 years, most attractive is conversion to equity with valuation frozen at today's value. But you can always sell it on secondary market at any time.

For the past few years I have had a few hundred in BTC on coinbase - mainly used as currency for online shopping/ online trading.. not logged in 6 months or so - and now those hundreds are thousands!

Wont do much with them - as they still serve their purpose... and if i had put them into some covid stocks back in june would have been worth more!

As a risky investment strategy i would still say AIM/ emerging stocks on the FTSE or the daq have higher reward than crypto... my mining stocks have gone up over 800% since march this year.

Great to see another Metroid Another +1 here for CoinMetro. Although its not seen as much 'pump' and traction of the rest to date, there is no doubt it has an incredible founder and team which I have great confidence in.

I see it is convertible into the crypto coin but the coin could be worthless in several years.

There are two options: first and most attractive is conversion to equity like token at current valuation of €50m, if they maintain their current growth rate of 10x it will be worth much more than that in 2 years time. As a fall back you also have an option to convert it to their utility token -xcm which again will always have increasing value due to diminishing supply and tokenomics. But with crypto nothing is guaranteed so time will tell

Bear in mind that the FCA have banned the sale of crypto or crypto derivatives to private investors as of January 6th 2021, and also as of that date they cannot be held in an ISA.

Not really true, ban is only on sale of crypto derivatives from UK registered or UK acting companies, so nothing will change

Doing pretty well, a lot of hedge funds have finally woke up to crypto and the adoption will only continue to rise, saying that price correction is due in the next few weeks as US based investors will take profits to complete tax returns by the end of January. long term prospects are great for crypto in general

I'm doing alright. Kept in it since the last big spike and crash... always thought it would come back. There WILL be a crash at some point I am sure, it's just whether there will be a new higher floor level.

Long term it's definitely here to stay. If it wasn't then it would have died by now.

Glad I sold my XRP last month, it's taken a right tanking the last few days due to the lawsuit. Maybe time to buy back in?

No idea either, it had bottomed out at 30 when I posted that and seems to have stabilised slightly above for today anyway. It seemed decent when it was around 65 a week ago, but could easy go down further.
