Thats the same as the saying that you only buy a Cayman if you cant afford a 911, yet some would say that a good Cayman is all you could ever need and more pure than a 911 these days.

JustChris I am with Tengo, I'd go GTS for a daily over pretty much anything (if my ageing bones would get that low down and get out elegantly!)

Yes, I think I have seen a Youtube video, either Harry's Garage or Carfection (?) that came to that conclusion. From memory part of their argument was the slightly narrower tyres of the GTS helped better handling as well as road comfort

The narrower tyres will reduce how much it follows cambers and ruts, of which there are plenty on British roads. I run Cup2s on the M4 in the summer and on my Exige, amd they're an outstanding tyre. The grip and feel improvement when you push the car is incredible, but that comes with a firmer ride, due to the tyre construction, and it's nowhere near as good in the cold and wet as a standard UHP tyre.
So like the car overall, a GT4 is capable of a higher peak performance at the cost of less of being less of an all rounder.

It's the car I'd go for, but I do lots of track days and it would be a third car. If it was a daily or second car then I'd go GTS, and probably with PDK
