Cup holder, but there is nothing else on it but the discount card from the grocery store. House has a keypad and I have not carried a house key for years. I wish the keyless access system would work with an iPhone, then I wouldn't even carry the key fob.

Right front pocket. Only have 2 small keys attached. If I am working on the car I keep it in the cup holder.

Right side jeans pocket in that small pocket meant for a pocket watch!
In the Audi Q5, I kept the key in the keygina -- where it belongs. |

I used to throw my keys in the cup holders (but the rattling was annoying) so now either I put them on the floor, halfway under the floor mat or I throw them in the center console.

I hope he was kidding. After work one night, we stopped at a bar and some douche had his 2007 328i out in the lot parked in two spots (it was 2015). When we got inside, I knew immediately who it was. He had his fob on the bar prominently displayed while trying to talk to the ladies. Guess he thought the keyfob would impress them.

House keys always in my left pocket, keys for whichever car I'm driving in my right pocket.
More of an issue is where to keep my stupidly large iPhone Plus, can't sit down with it in my pocket, tried putting it in the tray in front of the cupholders, but then had to retrieve it from the rear passenger floor after I'd accelerated. Now goes in the tray on top of the cupholders, until I want to carry cups, then it goes into that awkward box under the armrest. These cars have very few places for the driver to store things you might want on a journey |

In the little coin area in front of the cup holder or in my right front pocket. Have a little Ti clip thing that keeps it in check in my pocket.

When I'm by myself I extend the leg support on the passenger seat and slip my phone and keys in that little crevice. When I'm with passengers, I usually just keep everything in my pockets.

Pocket. Keys are security items and don't leave my person except when in bed, the shower or at an airport.
Also, I have NEVER kept house keys and car keys on the same ring. Recipe for disaster IMHO. Same for keys for multiple vehicles. Grumpy Cat says NO! |

I installed an autolocking keypad lock for the door between the garage and house. It’s the same code as my front door. My exwife installed the same. The kids have trouble remembering so all the codes are the same.

I keep it in the coin tray next to the toll pass reader. No other keys on the ring. When I get home the key hangs in the garage next to the other fobs. It never enters the house. Easy to find when I get ready to leave.
