The logging looks great Jarek, thanks for sharing.

Do you think we could get an "auto-log" feature that starts logging automatically at full throttle? I liked this feature from another logging tool I've used before. --MW

Changed my plugs today for a one step colder and gapped to .022. Ran around a bit. Felt much better on start up and at stop lights. Used my dragy and pulled a quick 0-60 in 3.99 and 1/4 in 12.28. I feel it can do much better once I play with what RPM to drop on launch. I already can't wait for ST3

Nice 0-60 time. What other mods do you have besides the JR Auto Stage 2 tune?

ER catless downpipe and BMS intake. Otherwise just Dinan springs and Michelin PS4S tires. Still getting a bit of wheel spin on all 4 tires

What plugs did you change to? I am still running stock plugs on my tune but wonder if I should change... maybe I'll call Alex.

I run AST and get the same, need to upgrade to summer tires in the Spring!

You're spinning all wheels in a strait line? If so, that's impressive. I've got the X3 M40i, and I have to crank it pretty hard to break it loose but it'll do full blown donuts with traction and stability control turned fully off. Never been able to do AWD burnouts in a strait line though.

I've got the MIssion Performance Stage 2 ECU (or 3) tune, Stage 1 TCU tune, ceramic catted downpipe, K&N drop in filter and I'm putting down 360WHP & 441WTQ on a Mustang Dyno. That's on just 93 octane.

@GT500R, Alex told me last week to gap at .022'. I have Champion plugins in mine. (Lawnmower plugs? Weirdest thing ever.) He stated that factory are really the best, and they should be perfect to go 20k miles on these tunes.

Running NGK 5992. I gapped to .022 where the OEM Bosch were gapped to .03

Doing a 2500 RPM drop in Sport mode gets all four wheels slipping for a few feet before it tries to grab again. In Sport+ it gets a little sideways. On last dyno ran a 373/398 on a mustang dyno.

So you're enabling launch control when you take off spinning, or are you powerbraking it at 2,500 rpm with DSC off?

Also, I think your power curve is a bit more linear than mine. My tune is from Mission Performance.

Power braking with dsc on. In sport+ with dsc off it's useless. I can't even use the launch control

Also looks like you had same boost spike I had early. Did you update map? Since I've updated it feels even smoother

Don't forget, he has the 340xi with a curb weight of around 800-900 lbs less then us with our SUV's. So easier to spin when there isn't a lot of weight to slow you down

From what I've read...the xDrive/4WD Calibration on the X40i is actually a bit different than typical xi cars including the standard X3s. The system is newer and throws much more % of power to the rear axle than a corresponding xi car...which would explain some forum members' abilities to do donuts in their huge 4WD SUVs M40i's.

The back axle is managed by BMW’s Performance Control rear differential that varies the torque going to each of the rear wheels...which could explain the better grip off the line (not to mention the heavier 20-21 inch wheels). I will also add, 900+ lbs is a crap ton, so I wouldn't lose my marbles on seeing a typical 340xi trying to find grip off the line...even with a light tune with some typical low-down mppsk type overboost.

Verifying that MG has updated this tune to smooth out that overboost spike upfront on your dyno? And can you confirm what octane you were on? Thanks!

Hi Jarek,

If the custom map we have already has cold start delete, will not checking it in the options disable it, or do we need to get custom maps without any options already activated?

I ask because I tried leaving that option unchecked, but cold start delete still seems active. The exhaust flap always open worked
