Hey guys, at which pressure (PSI) is the limit of the TU pump? Actually, I'm running 25 PSI without ethanol, but would like to kow how much buffer I have. I guess it should be somewhere around 26-27 PSI, right?

Nobody can really answer that question. The limit is based on airflow, not pressure. And airflow varies depending on the turbo amongst other things. Log your tune to know if you're hitting the limit or not.

Torque Settings
Morning, can i get people's thoughts on the torque setting discussed in ITSA+ as i have seen differing opinions on forums.
I have seen people saying they snap the bolts often when tighten to the below torque settings (Is this becuse they didnt replace the M10's) the M10's on mine are of differing types see below photo. Also i see that for the HPFP that the Torque settings are different for inlet/outlet & Rail connections as follows Inlet side of the HPFP = 26Nm Outlet side & Rail connections 26Nm Are people following these above or just tightning to feel? (Don't like that idea on the M10's given its a strut) Cheers TF |

HPFP and Ethanol
Hi Guys,
Recently joined this forum. Sorry if this question might have been asked already. Currently have done the following mods on a 440iX GC LCI with the MPPSK: - Catless DP - Stage 1 Dorch HPFP - MST cold air intake - XHP stage 3 Currently running a custom stage 2 tune by Mosselman Turbo systems (one of if not the best BMW tuner in The Netherlands). My question is since i have an upgrade HPFP can i run an E30 mix without a flex fuel? I read on a couple threads that the ECU automatically changes the AFR etc. But this is limited to a max of E30 and not more. Can somebody confirm this please. |

If you have a corresponding tune, you can even run E85! The ECU adjusts according to your tune! What you have read is valid for stock tune.
If your tune is not E30, then there would be no point of doing it and potentially some harm. Flex fuel has little to do with it - flex fuel adjusts the map on the go according to your E content. Without it, you need to manually ensure fuel and map match.
