Removing intercooler
All;
I'm pretty adaptive with my hands but I'm not sure on of getting the steps right on removing my intercooler. I'd like to clean it and I don't want to foul it up in any way. Does anyone have the steps for removing and replacing an intercooler? Model is a 2018 328d. Thank you to anyone that can help. v/r, John |

If you look up any of the videos online how to do it, it's the same as the gas models (N20/26/55 engines). It's not really difficult to do.

Yep +1 Farkle!. Google BMW F30 intercooler installation in YouTube.
It's basically about 2 dozen 8mm bolt/screws to drop the front splash panel and 2 T(something) wrench/sockets to undo the intercooer mounting. Use a 2 flat-head screwdrivers to undo the intercooler couplings. Maybe an hour TOPs to pull the original and install a new one. It's laughably easy. Intercooler change

Thank you for your support. I've pulled the splash shield several times, but the intercooler--no. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll let you all know how it goes. V/r, John |
