Cabin air filter
While removing the "under plastic" to access the cabin air filter, I noticed some fluid in the foam or noise damper glued to the plastic.
I was wondering what was that, what would cause that? I was in a rush and exchanged the filter and put back. Later while watching some videos related to this, I noticed the same going on on another F30 and made the screen shot attached. I just wonder if another forum member noticed that and know what could cause that? Thanks |

Thanks, but the stain is not under the cabin filter (green). It is under the "bulge" marked in red. I'm not sure what could be that.

It's the AC blower. It's possible that it could be leaking water in. Check the screws, it should be fine as long as those are tight. If that part was ever replaced, then it's possible that it could have been damaged. If everything checks out there, I'd go back and check that the filter housing cover. It could be leaking there and simply running down to the lowest point.
