Dim Green interior lighting through Bimmercode?

Hi everyone,

Since I've purchased my f30 I've always struggled with the interior lighting on the dash and auto gear selector being green when I'm driving at night.

I find it to be quite bright and it irritates my eyes whilst driving.

I've got Bimmercode but I don't want to enter the advance menu and change anything as I have little knowledge of those settings.

So if anyone knows if that lighting can be dimmed or set to a lower brightness through using Bimmercode, please let me know!

It would be greatly appreciated!

Isnt there a dial near the headlight switch where you can adjust the brightness?

It doesn't dim the green light in the interior. It stays the same brightness

Can you get a photo? The dash lights should be reddish orange at night unless someone actually changed the LED's.

The green light I have here magnified. Along with the gear selector for auto gearbox. The light that shows what gear you're in too. They just tend to be quite bright at night and cause a lot of irritation to my eyes

Oh. I don't think you can modify those, they're literally there in every car and bright so everyone can see them. What comes to the gear selector, you can dissassemble it and desolder the LED.

Grand, thanks for that. It's a proper nuisance for me, I feel like I'm getting blinded at night 🤣🤣
