Can VO coding affect my engine map?

Hi, will VO coding 8KM (12K km / 12month oil interval) to KOMBI and DME affect my engine maps? I have done chip tuning and I dont want to lose it.

As far as I'am aware, DME is used to control work of engine.

Coding doesnt affect the engine maps. Flashing does affect.
