These need to be accurate as this is the for the final spec sign off over here, the images aren't always great but the spec should be spot on

I am guessing that because the storage under the light switches isn't a standalone option is the reason they don't warn you that you lose it when you put dynamic safety on.

i was referring to the images mostly, and the customer facing online config is even worse

Tell me about it! This forum is a good tool though for me anyway as when I spec customers cars there's often things that are thrown up that I wouldn't normally be aware of, not that product knowledge isn't great just that the configurator doesn't inform you that you lose these little things when you add in certain packages.
Found this thread where a customer ran into the same issue (losing cubby / drivers side glove box with his config).

Retrofitting drivers side glove box instead of assist buttons + a wireless charger!

Is it just the BMW individual leathers that are also colored matched leather for the glove box area below the dash? I want the midnight blue leather and it would be nice to continue the same color leather for the glove box area instead of the usual black area. I guess I need to wait for the US configure to appear soon.

Post your exact specification request and I will send through the mock ups from the internal system (LHD images)

It is all new for this model, as you are aware Carbon has been included in M products for some time but this isn't the same trim, so in short yes and with regard to photos I will post some real lifes when I see on training or through dealer launch cars coming through over next few weeks.

I do not believe that is the case with the midnight blue leather. I do know the existing Coral Red is color matched to lower half of the dash, as is the newer Ivory White option. And I believe there is one existing beige-ish color that similarly has a color match.

the dashboard will be black, the midnight blue will not change the dashboard and center console to a blue color like coral red does.
I saw it on a configurator from the NETHERLANDS.

Will the leather dashboard option come back? When I ordered my F32 it disappeared from the website and my SA couldn't get it done for me. I was told I had to order individual to get leather on the dash.

Also, will midnight blue be a standard color option? If so, available with M sport ? Thanks !

Isn't Ivory White an individual option and add leather to the dash? In contrast, ordering coral red only adds color to the plastic.

Not sure about the leather dashboard.
As far as Midnight Blue is a standard color and is available with the M Sport line.
I'm also thinking of that color if I order an Alpine White GC. Still not sure what color I really want.
Good luck.

Thanks for this TonyUF

Question for anyone with the answer. It says Active Cruise Control (5DF) "cannot be ordered with ZMP and ZTR" - ZMP being the M Sport package and ZTR being the Tracking Handling Package.

Does this it mean it cannot be ordered if you have both packages? I was hoping to include it with an M Sport package, is that not possible?

I noticed that too.

My guess is BMW NA isn't even going to allow config that are complicated by whatever issues they have with HUD and Multifunction IC.

Also looks like no more melbourne red M sport cars, That is a huge disappointment....

very interested to see the coupe and any revisions past the first few build weeks

EDIT: the MR M sport seems to be a GC specific issue as it is not avail on the 2017s as well

ZMP requires ordering 300, 416, 475, A83, B39, B45,
C1G, X02, X08, X10 or X11

So now we can have M Sport line with individual paint which you couldnt do on 2017.

If only the active cruise control could be ordered with M Sport + Track Handling I would have been totally happy. All other countries allow it, why is BMW NA so restrictive?

If I read it right,ZMP also requires the ZL1 package which before wasn't necessary.

This is turning into a disaster. BMW NA promised there would be less restrictions but there are actually more:

5AG requires ordering ZLX or ZMP = Active Blind Spot Detection no longer available on Sport line
ZPX requires ordering ZLX or ZMP= Most items in executive package no longer available on sport line (Adaptive Full LED Lights, Automatic high beams, Side and Top View Cameras, Parking Assistant, Speed Limit Info)

If you want active cruise control and m sport brakes then you have to go sport line which now means you have to sacrifice a whole lot of other stuff.

I think the 2017 car I ordered was better than anything I can configure with these new f***ing rules. I might have to buy my 2017 order and give up on my euro delivery dream, or I give up the active cruise control which is a big loss.

I can configure my dream 2018 F36 on netherlands and belgium sites but not with these USA rules. So pissed at BMW NA over this.

EDIT now that I'm coming to terms with the new (stupid) rules: I guess I can live without ACC. I'm moving out of the city soon anyway and drive too aggressively to use ACC in anything but gridlock. I should be happy that I'll be able to now get an M Sport line in tanzanite.
