Winter setup Questions
Hell All,
I am looking at purchasing a winter tire / wheel combo from a local bmw owner. He has an F80 M3 that these are coming off of. My question is, the below specs..will they fit on my 2018 F30 B58 Msport without any issues? Tire size / Wheel specs: F: 255/35R19 : 19x8.5 et30, 5x120 R: 275/35R19 : 19x9.5 et35, 5x120 Thank you, Jeff

That is a really wide set up for winter.
Normally you want to go with narrower wheels/tires for you winters to help them bite in the snow and give you better grip. Really wide tires will "float" on snow and slush because the weight of the car is spread out across a much wider surface area. A great example of narrow winter tires, while extreme, is the WRC. Take a look at the cars running in the snow at Rally Sweden. It looks like they are running bicycle tires compared to the set ups you see when they run on dry or wet/muddy roads.
