is the car actually louder than the previous models
I just traded in my 328 2011 for the 2012, when the guy drove the car to me after cleaning it at the dealership I thought I headed the engine sounded a bit louder, I kinda brushed it off but now while driving it, I noticed that the car is definitely louder on take offs and speed change, but its very quiet otherwise unless u get out and listen to it running.

Did you jump the gun when you traded in your '11? The reason why I ask is because you mentioned in the other thread that you didn't notice the new car was not equipped with Xenons until after you bought it. There is a wealth of information on this forum. |

isn't that a good thing? Shouldn't BMW be more performance oriented? Thats what I thought and thats what I hope. Engine sound is a good thing. I personally like hearing the engine especially on the 335 sounds so sexy.

I definitely did, I was out of there in an hour, black and black interior, and then went through the BMW website and noted that I should ve gotten the xenon instead of the heated seats or I should ve just ordered the combo I want, that just drove me crazy

There was a thread recently where someone posted db test results of the noise heard from inside the cabin of the E90, F30 and some other cars. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it.
Anyway, the F30 was shown to be MUCH quieter than the E90 when driving. |

First thing I noticed when I took an F30 328i for a test drive. Inside the cabin that is.
