It's also hard arranging test drive's, as they use a stock photo and advertise the cars before they have them on site, so arranging a day to suit is very hard work. I picked up a great car, though it still does have a couple of issues, which hopefully will get sorted out when i have to go and visit them next week. Just a shame its a 140 miles away. Will be really interested on what you think of the transmission remap, can you please let us know, how much did Unicorn quote for that, if you don't mind me asking |

Looks great, and the mods all sound good except the filter, which you've now decided against.
Handling wise, if you like to drive fast, I'd say consider changing the dampers. The car is spectacularly quick cross country with the right suspension. If you want to use on track then I'd improve the brakes.

Great car, you wont be disappointed, i though about selling mine but i don't know what else i would get for the money which would be as good. Lowering the car with make a big difference handling and ascetics. The list of mods i did was
Carbon Fibre front splitter Carbon Fibre rear diffuser Carbon Fibre side blades Carbon Fibre spoiler Lowered on H&R springs 20” M performance alloys (Reps) with TPMS (2 x Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s & 2x Pirelli P Zero) Quad exit exhaust Black grill |

But I reality anything from Bilstein or KW or Birds would be great for road and occasional track use.

How much stiffer than standard are the bilsteins, is it that noticeable, and how much of an improvement is the handling, do you get more feel through the corners ? Cheers

Unicorn are great you won’t have any issues with them.
Had my 335xd done by then to 750nm and 373bho - transforms the car really well especially with the Alpina flash. As for gearbox safe limit you rarely put all 750nm down all at once and there’s a few running 800nm without breaking. But it’s your shout. There’s a guy running a Wagner Intercooler akready on a yellow 435d and he’s stared it doesn’t make that much difference to the power.

Handling wise they're immense, especially on typical British A and B roads, where bumps, weird cambers and dips really test body control.

Cheers, definitely something to think about, would love to lower it as well, they look so much sexier, but it already occasionally catches the front splitter when i reverse on the drive, so that might be out of the question, do you have the thicker rear anti roll bar as well ?
