I was running a reduced gap with colder plugs, but on advice of tuner (wedge) I went back to stock plugs, stock gap. Running custom stage 2+ w/ fbo including gc+ turbo. No issues so far 👌

I also was running tighter gap at .022 but tuner suggested running stock plug stock gap as well. Currently have GC turbo, FBO, e50 tune, no issues

From what I read, the stock plugs should be used at stock gap and not tampered with.
The electrode being weaker and changing the gap might damage it... Consensus: run stock plugs and you should be fine, if there is an issue then you look at maybe NGK plugs. The NGK plugs can be gapped.
