Dare I say it "looks good" with options this will get very pricey.
However, cant blame BMW for making this car, they are taking over where SAAB left off............

The 4 Series GC is 1.6 inches lower than F30.

You can compare against F30 specs listed @ http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=592598

Looks really good...I'm already looking forward for the M4 Gran Coupe. I'm sure it will be a stunning car.

Gorgeous car. So indeed no B58 here as was already predicted by leaked specs. 3 Series LCI it is then.

This arrives early summer as an MY2015 and so does the M3 and M4. I am thinking that all 3 and 4 models may follow suit. It would not be the first time we see a short model year and early-calendar-year model year changeover to "sync up". And if that happens, in turn, we may see other BMW models (5, 6, etc.) roll over to MY2015 at the same time.

And it's actually $200 less than the standard 4 Coupe.

When did the sport line stop having sport suspension in it?

All the best.

It should look like a smaller version of the 6-Series Gran Coupe instead of a slightly modified version of the 3-Series GT that it is. There is not much sportiness in it, looks very family oriented with the hatch back and all. Doesn't look like a 4 door coupe imo. The C-pillar 3rd window is so un-BMW. Doesn't look bad but it's not what I expected. Missed opportunity imo.

This will be big in Europe.

Quote:
That's really too bad. I think a baby 6GC would have demolished this segment. And an M version of a 4-door 4GC? Forget about it.
The interesting thing is that it allows the G30 5er to have an even more flowing roofline similar to this early render which shows if the car used the extended wheelbase.
But sport orientated dynamics defended the decision of the standard wheelbase.
There are customers especially in Europe who like the 4er Coupe but it is entirely in adequate for their needs like family trips , business clients etc. Now they can have a 4er and all its attributes as well as the space and flexibility they need.

If you pine for this? Then the next 5er will be the gain to the 4er Gran Coupes loss.

That vid is sooooo gay.

Well, nothing special, rather boring. Before BMW was a leader, now they just follow. I never liked Audi A5 Sportback, now BMW has their "Sportback".

Next please.

This thing crushes the 3 series in the looks department.

They should have just made this the 3.

Another example of BMW having too many models for it's own good.

THIS is exactly how the 4-Series GC should have looked like. The hatch back style decision is completely inexplicable since there is the 3-Series GT already.

So it's approximately 80kg heavier than the F30. Sweet. Opposite...

Nice looking car...I just don't understand BMW's strategy and target market for this. Is it the sedan driver that always wanted a coupe? or the coupe driver that would like a more practical car? Maybe I'm missing something but crossover type cars just don't do it for me.

This should've been the F30. Not a big fan of the F30, but quickly fell in love with the 4GC.
