They are coming. I send ER 3 emails a day reminding them about this. They are in the middle of preparing for bimmerfest so I guess a little distracted.

Seems like it, 32WHP and 16WTQ seems like a GREAT increase with just catless DP.

Is this a stock BMW 340 with only a DP? Please provide details. What kind of dyno was this test on?

Yes the 340i is stock aside from the ER DP. The dyno was done at European Auto Source, unsure what kind of dyno it is. Dynojet maybe?

Here is a dyno pull after the installation of the DP.

Imagine what you could do with the JB4 or ECU flash, increase the boost to 18+psi and make a ton of power.

My thoughts exactly! The air flow/exaust of this car will be better then anything we have seen to date in a non M car form...

I believe this was a stock car, but will get the details from the car owner.

The dyno graph belongs to your car? 32rwhp for only a DownPipe is amazing.

ER makes some quality stuff. I believe their DP is larger then some of the other offerings and provides a smoother exhaust flow. Could explain the awesome numbers.

Awesome result from just a DP, are you planing on running a JB4 or a flash tune in the near future?

Will be interesting to see the results as these new motors look very promising.

Yeah I plan to do a JB4 and intake. Still sourcing out an exhaust.

Are you sure its WHP etc as the stock dyno numbers quoted are v close to what BMW quote as crank figures.

Nonetheless the gains are good for a std car with DP added, regardless of crank or wheel figures....

No, that's WHP, normally if the engine is making anywhere near crank from WHP, it's a very good sign that the engine is well designed.

I mean I believe the F80 M3/M4 was making something like 420 WHP and 415 WTQ. BMW always underrates their engines.

Maybe but there's no getting away from transmission losses.

BMW may underrate its engines but across on M2 forum, stock cars are being dyno'd at <320WHP which means your car is putting out 365-375 at the crank. I struggle to comprehend how and why BMW would be giving away 40-50bhp to its customers FoC !!!!

Remember on a dyno the absolute number isn't that relevant as some dynos ready high some read low. The important number is the delta. Don't get too caught up on absolute values.
