Picked mine up today. I absolutely love the grunt of the 6 pot petrol. Night and day compared to my 330d. Thanks all for the input on this thread. Next on the shopping list: ceramic coating (maybe PPF the bumper & headlights?), M Performance body kit, and eventually an exhaust with a bit more presence.

have a look at Fuelly
http://www.fuelly.com/car/bmw/430d
and compare that to the 420d.
xdrive (should you want it) will knock 10% off those figures.

Picked up my 430d yesterday. Its quite a revelation moving from a 320d to the 3 litre, but so far i'm grinning a lot!

What kinda deal did you get on your 430d if you don't mind me asking? I'm in a similar position to a few here.

I was originally looking to save 5k / 6k by getting a 2017 125d, I have 1-1.5K negative equity in my car. After all is said and done it saves me 2.5K over my current 2018 XE, monthlies and deposit wasn't far from a brand new M140i shadow edition on offer????!

If I actually liked the M140i I'd be all over it.!

List price was £42,500 but I got dealer deposit of £5750, £4450 off list and they gave me a trade in value on my F30 to cover outstanding finance (11k for a 2013 320d). That with the 0% pcp would have made me an idiot to say no!

That sounds like a great deal if the figures correct? The list price of the car was surely more than £42500??

That makes sense. Was near going to ask for the dealers number to buy one!
