Yep, cost dependent I'd be interested in a set of those for my wife's car, the red stitching certainly complements the Coral Red really well.

Andy don't suppose you have part numbers handy for what you bought?

On the mods front, funny you ask , on the day we collected it, I treated her to the M Performance interior trim (alcantara & carbon dash and the carbon door pulls). Done some coding on her car too, M Performance logo on startup, LEDs on reverse etc.

Still planning the M performance diffuser and a lip spoiler but not got around to that yet.
The vermillion red is lovely too - not seen one in real life but looks so good in pictures.

I'm really wanting the M performance trim but the cost from BMW is insane - waiting for a good condition 2nd hand pair - how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking

Seriously tho, nice looking car mate. 330d is the sweet spot!
Haha I ran the optional cups just that one time, the extra power was too much to handle, I think it's an extra 15-20% personally.

I managed to get them from the F30x Buy and Sell Facebook Page but they're kinda rare and very hard to find. I was planning on selling them on but they look too good

Part number's from real OEM for the left front handle (below I think is pic of right handle): BMW 51418057637 | BMW 8057637

I think brand new they're around £250 per handle

With that part number schmiedmann has them for £174 each. However they list them as sakhir orange.

That's correct - they only made them for the F80 M3 which has Sakhir Orange interior.

Sakhir orange and Coral Red interiors are very very similar and on the door handle alone it looks identical to the seats and door arm rests.

Thanks, yeah, I really liked the Vermillion, my kids preferred it to the Coral too, it's a slightly deeper red. Doesn't show well in photo's but this was mine.

IIRC, I got the M Performance trim on eBay from Blue Bell BMW in Crewe for under £470, there was also a crazy eBay offer on at the time which saved me an extra 10% so to me it was a no brainer

Thanks for the part number too, wow, £250 per handle sounds crazy - they are really nice though! I'll keep an eye out...

That's how I justified switching to the M Performance trim as the alu is so delicate!

Point the mirror upwards as far as it'll go and using a wide trim removal tool pop it out from the bottom

Car looks good mate! I’m also in the Manchester area and will keep an eye out for this one on the roads. It’s lowered, so it will be easy to spot! Top job!

Thanks mate - hopefully see you around too. Got any pics of yours?

Got the carbon wing mirrors fitted, took about 10 minutes each side with trim tools. Extremely relieved I managed to not break any glass (thanks for the advice above)

Also offered up the carbon spoiler which I can't wait to get on

Think the next step is the dual exhaust conversion but I'll hold out until I can get some OEM MPE tips

As always, humongous pics attached - excuse the dutty car

So this happened to my genuine splitter at the hands of a McDonalds drive through trial electricity generator ramp.

But good news as it gives me a chance to respray the front end with a few extra bits and get a new splitter on there.

Undecided between the Varis Cabon fibre or just another Genuine Matt Splitter - currently leaning towards OEM splitter.

That's proper shit luck, mate. Looking forward to see what you get next.
Are you considering a front end respray to fix road rash?
Mine needs a nose job badly after 82k highway miles

All's well ends well

Front end respray was really only to tidy a few marks (didn't have any stonechips) but decided at the same time to get the numberplate holes filled and a magna plate kit so I can remove the plate as and when in seconds.

I also got some Auto ID carbon grills which I think look fantastic

Over the moon with the new splitter and smooth front end

As always, comments welcome
