F30/F31 LED headlight

My F31 currently has the xenon adaptive headlights and I'm looking to upgrade to the LED. Ive seen a few sellers/ posts for them (i.e. ONEighty, umnitza) but when i go to sites seems they no longer sell/carry them. I have seen 2 sellers on AliExpress with the same pictures at umnitza. Has anyone ordered from them directly? Whats the fitment, quality, over all.

OEM vs Aftermarket LED headlights?

Thanks!

Oh also is there anyone who has F31 LCI tail lights aftermarket yet? These are hard to come by

LED is an upgrade from halogen but I doubt it's an upgrade from xenon adaptive.

Driving a LED BMW and back to mine was a big difference, why im considering the change. The adaptive is great to, but from what Im seeing and read the aftermarket ones have somewhat of an adaptive light that turns on when you turn.

If anyone has swapped to OEM adaptive LED headlights chime in, wanting to know how much it cost and what parts im needing. Thanks!

You can use coding to turn on the fog lamp on the side you're turning towards with the stock lamps.

Yeah, mine do that right now along with the headlights turning. So id assume they would continue that.

The Umnitza/ONEighty/eBay/Alibaba(They're all the same) will not work with your current setup since you have the adaptive xenon. In all honesty, with what all I've read about the actual performance of the adaptive LED lights is that most of the people (on this forum mind you) would match rather have the adaptive xenon lights back than their adaptive LED's. Yes, the aftermarket LED lights have the little turning light that comes on, but that's about it. You should have the cornering lights as your fog lights if you do have the adaptive xenon's. There has been one member on here that has swapped out his adaptive xenon lights for the adaptive LED's, but i can't remember what the title of the thread was. Since you have the adaptive headlights, have you had them coded, assuming you have the high beam assistant? Supposedly, I have halogen, so i can't really tell you, when they are coded, they change dramatically in terms of lighting performance when you get the variable light distribution and the anti dazzle high beam turned on. If you really want to go all out and spend the money on swapping out lights, buy a set of E-Code adaptive headlights so you can get the true anti-dazzle high beam(US spec lights are missing one of the motors in the headlights) and get a set of OEM led fog lights and call it a day.

I bought the LED fogs not too long ago they should be in this week. What are E-code adaptive headlights? Also whats the difference between the anti-dazzle and the high beam assist? Another option i thought about was adding the high beam assist and rolling with those one most of the time.

E-Code adaptive headlights are Euro-spec lights and will give you the full anti-dazzle high beam along with a better beam pattern on the low beam. High beam assist is just an automatic high beam that turns them on and off, the true anti-dazzle high beam will give you the tunnel effect high beam that shades out an on coming car while keeping your high beams on.

For OEM adaptive LED headlights, you just need to find a pair with all the modules. The rest is rewiring/coding.
